Great news from the barn conversion! We’ve just poured the concrete foundations for the new extension on Plot 3. This is a big step forward and means we’re ready to start building up!
This stage of the project presented its fair share of technical complexities. Coordinating the concrete mix itself, along with the Caltite waterproofing, steelwork installation, and various contractor teams, required meticulous planning and seamless communication. However, thanks to excellent collaboration between everyone involved, the pour was a resounding success.
The smooth, even surface of the newly poured foundation sets the stage for the next phase of construction. This solid base will provide the necessary support for the new extension, ensuring its structural integrity for years to come.
